Where these numbers come from

Tuned against Out of Spec Reviews' 10%->80% test at a 350kW EVgo stall (31 min, ~158kW average power) - very low drag coefficient keeps consumption down despite the large pack. Highway baseline fitted to InsideEVs' 70 mph test (450+ RWD, 391 mi, 3.67 mi/kWh) - pinned in tests/test_highway_road_tests.py.

The charge session is integrated across 1% state-of-charge steps on the curve above, with the cold-weather intake limit applied below 68°F. Highway range applies aerodynamic drag scaling, a cold-air penalty and a temperature-dependent cabin heater to a 227 Wh/mi baseline. Formulas and their limits: how it works.

Pack age matters. These figures assume a new pack. The calculator takes a model year and odometer reading and derates both charging and range for an older one.
